Privacy Policy

At SkinWise Clinic by Dr Khushboo, your privacy is important to us. We keep things simple:

1. Minimal Data Collection
   We only collect the personal information that’s necessary — nothing more.

2. Use of Your Information
   Any information you share is used only for:

   • Medical diagnosis and treatment

   • Contacting you when needed

   • Fulfilling legal or medical obligations

3. Your Data Stays Private
   We do not sell or misuse your data. It is stored securely and accessed only by authorized staff.

4. Website Analytics
   We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand website visits and page performance. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use analytics cookies or browser local storage. Optional Google measurement is described separately below.

   Our separate website counter records daily totals for page views, the start of a browsing session and clicks on Book a consultation, WhatsApp, Call or Get directions. Totals are grouped by a broad source (for example Google search, Google Ads or ChatGPT), the website entry page, the page where the action happened and the action type. These totals indicate visits and interest; they do not identify unique people or confirm an appointment or attendance.

   For advertising visits, totals can also include public numeric campaign, ad-group, ad and location-area codes, plus broad device and advertising-network categories. These codes identify advertising settings, not individual visitors. We also group totals by approximate city, region and country supplied by Cloudflare’s network. This is an estimate and can be wrong, particularly with mobile networks or VPNs; we do not request your device’s location permission or store precise coordinates.

   To keep the same source and entry page while you browse, we use session storage in your browser tab for up to 30 minutes. This contains no visitor ID and is not used to recognise you across visits. If storage is unavailable, counting can still work using the current page. We respect the browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals for this enquiry counter.

   The counter stores aggregate totals in Cloudflare D1, without names, contact details, symptoms, IP addresses, Google click identifiers, raw referrer URLs or raw query strings. It extracts only recognised source labels, the advertising codes described above and published website paths; other URL parameters are discarded. Totals are kept for 90 days; older totals are removed when the next day’s activity is recorded. Cloudflare still processes network information to deliver and protect the website, as described in its privacy policy.

5. Optional Google booking measurement
   You can accept or decline optional Google Analytics measurement through our Privacy choices control. It helps us understand whether website visits and advertising lead to successful Setmore bookings. Booking works without accepting. Our optional Google Analytics script loads only after acceptance; a declined or missing choice does not start this measurement. We also respect Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track browser signals.

   After acceptance, Google can use browser measurement cookies and advertising identifiers to connect a website visit with a completed booking. The website and Setmore ask independently; your choice is stored in each site’s browser local storage for up to 90 days. You can withdraw through Privacy choices on that site. Browser restrictions, declined choices and blocked scripts can make reports incomplete. The setup does not enable advertising personalization, remarketing, enhanced conversions or patient-list uploads.

   This optional measurement uses generic website and booking-page descriptions instead of treatment-page titles, booking URLs or arbitrary query strings. Recognized Google advertising click identifiers may be retained in the generic website URL for ad attribution. It sends a successful-booking event without patient names, contact details, symptoms, treatment selections, staff names or appointment identifiers. Public numeric advertising campaign, ad-group, ad and location codes, and recognized broad source labels, may be included. A booking identifier may be used only in the current page’s memory to avoid counting a repeated booking signal; it is not sent by our measurement script or saved in the website counter.

   Google processes browser/network information under its privacy policy. After acceptance on this website, links to Setmore may include a short-lived parameter carrying browser measurement identifiers. Optional measurement on Setmore starts only after acceptance there. These identifiers are separate from medical records and are not saved in our first-party aggregate counter. Google measurement is not a record of who attended the clinic. Attendance requires staff confirmation and is reported separately as aggregate totals.

6. Booking and external services
   Booking opens Setmore. WhatsApp and Google Maps links open those services. Information you provide there is handled under the respective provider’s privacy terms. Our website enquiry counter cannot read your booking details or messages, and cannot connect a click to a named patient. Our optional measurement choice governs our Google Analytics setup, not Setmore’s essential booking functions, its tag-manager loader or other providers’ independent processing.

An image appearing on this website does not make it available for general licensing or reuse. Rights and permissions depend on the specific image.

Each request is reviewed individually; permission, where granted, will be in writing and will set out the terms of use.

Google Maps opening hours

The website can request the clinic’s current opening hours from Google Maps through our server. We do not send patient names, contact details or symptoms to Google for this lookup. The hours are used for display and are not stored in your browser’s local storage or cookies. When live hours are unavailable, we display the clinic’s regular schedule and a link to check Google Maps.

Google Maps features are subject to the Google Privacy Policy. Opening an external Maps link or loading the embedded map connects your browser to Google. Please also see our website terms.
